Julia Orobome Iyebutemeh is the visionary force behind Niovo, a premium Nigerian fashion brand best known for its figure hugging silhouettes, luxurious fabrics, and intricate craftsmanship. With a deep appreciation for structure, femininity, and timeless design, Julia has positioned Niovo as a brand that thoughtfully celebrates womanhood in all its diversity.
Born in 1994, Julia’s love for fashion was nurtured from an early age through her mother, a fashion designer. She spent her childhood sketching and illustrating for her mother’s clients, fascinated by the creativity and individuality woven into each piece. This early exposure to design, detail, and client relationships laid the foundation for her own creative and entrepreneurial path.
Julia’s journey into the fashion and beauty space began during her undergraduate years at the University of Benin, where she launched her career as a makeup artist and later showcased her early fashion pieces on the runway. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, a background that continues to influence the way she tells stories through clothing.
To strengthen her business acumen, Julia attended the prestigious Lagos Business School, where she completed several executive programs in 2024, including the Owner-Manager Program, Accounting and Finance for Non-Finance Managers, and Creating Strategy for Competitive Advantage. These programs have played a key role in shaping her leadership style and vision for Niovo as a world-class brand.
In 2021, Julia founded Niovo as a space to fully express her creative freedom and cater to women of all body types, offering refined, contemporary designs that make every woman feel seen, confident, and beautiful. What began as a passion project has quickly grown into one of Nigeria’s most sought after womenswear brands, beloved for its meticulous craftsmanship, body positive designs, and elevated customer experience.
